San Francisco Trek

This weekend, three of Wash U’s fellows flew into the Bay Area to meet up with other fellows from InSITE’s national chapters. There was representation by JDs and MBAs from Harvard, Penn, Georgetown, UC Berkeley, and Stanford.

InSITE Fellows were able to tour a number of companies during their two-day trek, including Google, Twitter, NerdWallet, Samsung and Casper. Many of these visits included InSITE alumni and there were a number of conversations about the emerging trends and the future of technological innovation.

In addition, InSITE was able to meet with Andreessen Horowitz, a leading venture capital firm, and Wilson Sonsini, a law firm dedicated to serving technology firms and startups. And of course, no trek would be complete without a couple of happy hours as well. Although our fellows love Wash U and St. Louis, they did express a little disappointment in returning to cold weather and lackluster sushi.
